Written references are required by all new employees and our Personnel Department follow up these references.
Personal assessments are also made by Senior Management within Premier Group Services Ltd.
All employees of Premier Group Services Ltd. share a common objective – Client Satisfaction
Working together in a friendly professional manner we can all take pride in the achievement of our objective – Client Satisfaction.
By paying attention to detail, and following the training procedures, the familiar shortcomings of the service industry may be avoided.
Recruitment & Vetting to BS 7858
Our normal procedure is to advertise for staff in the appropriate local press and at military establishments. Client requirements on personnel profiles will be incorporated into our advertisement, not with standing our legal obligations under the Equal Opportunities and other Discrimination Legislations.
The Application Form is completed in detail and submitted to the Human Resources Department for scrutiny and agreement to the applicant's suitability before an offer of interview or employment is made.
Vetting procedures are laid down in accordance with BS7858, we are therefore obliged to vet staff for a minimum of ten years of employment or back to school leaving and all references must be totally acceptable to us before employment is offered.
Successful candidates will then be required to conduct their Basic 4 day training and then, via the Company, apply for their individual licence to the Security Industry Authority (if not already received) in accordance with the requirements of the Private Security Industry Act 2001.
If accepted, employment will be offered on the basis of a strict 16 week probationary period, at which point the Operations Manager will assess their “on the job” performance and suitability.
If at any time during the Security Officer probationary period, the recruit is found to be unsuitable, either by the Client or ourselves, he/she will be replaced.
